1. Current Use
clearyan.com does not offer account login and currently uses no advertising trackers or website analytics. The site stores your interface language preference in browser localStorage under the key yan-lang, with a value of either zh or en. This preference is stored only after you actively switch languages and remains until you choose another language or clear the site's data. localStorage is not a cookie.
2. Essential Cookies
To protect the website, identify unusual traffic, and deliver content reliably, our website security and content delivery provider may set temporary cookies that are strictly necessary. These cookies are used only for security checks and network services, not for advertising profiles.
3. Content Not Processed
Cookies and local storage used by the website neither contain nor access voice recordings, audio files, transcripts, history, or dictionary entries from the Yan desktop app.
4. Your Controls
You can clear cookies and site data in your browser settings. After yan-lang is cleared, the site will refer to your browser language the next time you enter through the homepage. If you visit a specific Chinese or English URL, the language of that URL takes precedence. Blocking essential cookies may affect website security checks, but it does not affect Yan's local transcription.
5. Policy Updates
If we later add analytics, login, or another feature that changes how cookies are used, we will update this page and the Privacy Policy before enabling it and provide any choices required by applicable law.
